Megan, bred by Gill Brown, on her first day with us and making the most of her new Daddy.
Updates on her progess will be added from time to time.
Megan will be attending training classes when age and vaccinations allow and she will be gracing the breed rings under discerning judges (who know what a Sable is and don't think that she is baby Rough Collie or a Shelty!).
As Megan is a 'Dual Registered' person (KC & ISDS), any puppies she has before she's passed her adult eye test at 2 years old will be on a 'limited' registration ('T' Certificate) with the ISDS. Once she has passed her eye test at 2 years, puppies will be automatically upgraded to an 'A' Certificate by application and at no charge (according to the ISDS website) . We are currently waiting for her hip scoring results to come back from the BVA. The plates were taken, and sent off, on May 21st 2005..
Megan delivered 7 wonderful, beautiful babies in July 2005. 4 of those babies were lost to Parvo Virus before they left home.
At long last, we have news of Megans Hip Score - the plates were taken before she came into season - it came back on 10th July 2005! her score is 3:8
The mating was repeated, because the individual puppies and the litter as a whole were so beautiful and balanced. These puppies will be primarily registered with the ISDS. We WILL be keeping a pup or two from this litter
