Griff is a total delight.
Born into a litter of 7, he is always wanting to please.
Griff is no longer available at stud due to the fact that he was castrated in May 2007. He had a tumour on one of his testicles.
He has sired 1 litter to date to our Morgan. This is the Dream litter....a whole litter of Sables. 3 of the 4 boys in this litter went to fly the Manderian flag in the Netherlands. the 4th boy and the one girl stayed in the UK.
In the moment he was born, he was mine and I was his. It is no exaggeration to say that he is a total delight. I could never tell him off, primarily because he didn't do anything wrong, and even if he did he would always seem to be sorry.
For over 10 years Griff has been my love, my soul-mate, my comforter and confidant. He was always a proper gentleman, dignified, kind and thoughtful in all things. And because I wanted him to keep his dignity, to be the man he always was, I had to make the heartbreaking decision to give him sleep.
The tumour that caused him to be castrated in May 07, was just one outward sign of a battle we had no chance of winning.
My heart is broken. One day we'll be together again at that beautiful place called the Rainbow Bridge.
