CEA - March 2005 & NCL - August 2005
We knew, almost from the moment he was born, that Dave would be staying with us.
There is that indeffinable 'something' that said "keep me!"
Dave is a wonderful dog, very much like his father. Dave started his work (being a stud dog) before he was 18 months old when Lucy decided that he was going to be her 'husband' and no-one else would do. From that litter we kept the beautiful Annie. Dave has had quite a few 'wives' and never failing to produce excellent puppies.... With some of his children it is very easy to tell who their daddy is, with others not quite so easy.
All of his children have excellent conformation, good looks, brains and great temperaments. At the time of writing there is 1 litter sired by Dave waiting to be born (due 10th July 06). This is the last litter he sired. The litter was safely delivered to the Resleap kennel. Resleap Summer Holiday is currently being campaigned by her breeder, Mrs Voirrey Paesler.
From our own ladies, Dave has also sired 2 litters to Megan, and 1 with Belle...always remembering his first love Lucy. Another of Dave's wives is a beauty called Rhona. When we went to visit her litter at 5 1/2 weeks, there was one little boy who just kept coming back into our minds....in the end we just had to ask if we could buy him - even though we had no plans for a puppy at that time - fortunately for us his breeder agreed and we were blessed with 'Cider With Rosie'. Naturally we added our affix when Wolf became ours.
Dave passed to the Rainbow Bridge far too soon. He will live on in his children, grandchildren and all of their descendants.
